Graduate Student Housing

Students approved to arrive on campus prior to the official opening of the residential facilities should contact Rae Cabral at the Residential Life Office:

If you have confirmed on-campus housing in the Graduate Residences, you should go directly to the West Complex Office in Alsop A West Campus to check in. If you have confirmed on-campus housing in the Hilltop Apartments, you should go to the Hilltop Apartment Community Center to check in.

Undergraduate and Transfer-In Student Housing - Fall 2009

Applying for Housing & Receiving Your Assignment
1 - After paying your $150 University Acceptance Fee, you can access the 2009 - 2010 On-Campus Housing Application using your NetID and password. University Information Technology Services (UITS) will issue and mail your NetID and activation code 10-14 days after your admission to UConn.

Go to: www.reslife.uconn.edu > Bulletin Board > Housing Applications

2 - Complete the 2009 - 2010 On-Campus housing Application at www.reslife.uconn.edu. The deadline for new freshmen to apply was May 15, 2009 and July 1, 2009 for new transfers. A confirmation email is automatically sent to the student's Huskymail account once the application is submitted. If you do not receive this email, please call Residential Life at (860) 486-2926. Students who submit a housing application after teh deadlines will be automatically placed on the waiting list and are not guaranteed housing.

3 - Submit the Health History Form (www.newhusky.uconn.edu), including mandatory meningitis vaccination information, to Student Health Services by July 15, 2009.

4 - Check your HuskyMail account!! Residential Life will begin emailing assignment and check-in information to HuskyMail accounts in early August. Assignments will be made using the personal preference information provided on the 2009-2010 On-Campus Housing Application.

Undergraduate and Transfer-In Student Housing - Spring 2010

Applying for Housing & Receiving Your Assignment

2 - Complete the Spring 2010 On-Campus Housing Application at www.reslife.uconn.edu by November 30, 2009. The application will be available beginning October 12, 2009. A confirmation email is automatically sent to the student’s HuskyMail account once the application is submitted. If you do not receive this email, call Residential Life at (860) 486-2926. Students who submit a housing application after November 30, 2009 will be automatically placed on the waiting list and are not guaranteed housing.   

Due to the limited number of vacant rooms in the spring semester, we are not accepting roommate requests.

3 - Submit the Health History Form (www.newhusky.uconn.edu) including mandatory meningitis vaccination information, to Student Health Services prior to checking in to your housing assignment.
